Life: Development for eternity
Life on earth is a series of tests over a short period, designed by the Creator to conform each of us to God’s original intent: that we may successfully perform the specific duties He commissioned us to carry out in eternity.
God prepares us for our eternal purpose by shaping us through life circumstances. Our response to His predetermined life challenges will determine our final assignment in eternity.
Don’t waste life’s short training session distracted by the very things meant to develop your eternal capabilities.
Your eternal occupation depends on it.
2Corinthians 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
2Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
2Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
