Happiness vs Joy
Happiness is fleeting; but joy is eternal.

It’s a double door similar to the ones in adjoining hotel rooms. Each door can only be opened by one side. The other side has no handle.
Both doors must be open to provide a path for fellowship. They are called communicating doors.
Jesus opened his door by dying on the cross:
John 10:9 KJV I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
We are responsible for first hearing his voice, then opening our door to complete the path of fellowship with Him:
Revelation 3:20 KJV Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Philippians 4:13 KJV I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Being joined with Jesus is what strengthens us. This is where the joy comes from, and hence, the strength.
John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
Being joined with Jesus begins our journey towards the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is where joy is found:
Romans 14:17 KJV For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
The journey towards the kingdom of God is found in truth:
