Ears…
Do you have ears to hear?
Hearing God’s voice is critical because He says those that know Him, hear Him.
The only way to hear His voice is to invest in a relationship with Him by reading, doing, and living His Word; then being still and listening.
His voice is often the opposite of what you are thinking because He provides guidance to avoid pitfalls and direction to follow His Plan.
One morning, I heard a voice during my devotions; it was an amazing revelation. It was exciting to hear and I searched the Bible for the verse. I was disappointed that did not find it. Then the Lord spoke:
“He (the enemy) sounds just like Me; but I never say anything that is not in My Word.”
Listen for His voice and verify it in His Word. If your are not sure it is Him, wait before you take action; He will confirm it — He is never in a rush.
Matthew 11:15 He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
