Knowing His Plan
God has a plan for your life, but it is not always what you think. I had a very difficult next door neighbor in Massachusetts for many years, and one day I told the Lord:
“I’m going to die here proving I can love my neighbor”
It was not long after the Lord said:
“You don’t need to stay here”
A year later I was in North Carolina, living in the Great Smoky Mountains, the plans I had given up to do God’s Word by staying and loving that difficult neighbor.
Because I had completely surrendered to His plan, He granted my desire.
You can’t always see Gods plan, but it is perfect and He will execute it when He knows your heart is ready to receive it.
And if you truly know Him, your desires will align with Hisβ¦
Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
