Jesus’ counsel

Jesus gives his personal counsel, to those who would listen, only one time in the entire Bible:

Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Understanding the Greek meanings of the words, He essentially said:

“I advise you to join company with me and awaken so that I, the Lord can furnish what is needed for you to overcome and receive a white raiment. Keep company with me so that you may perceive my ways.”

Take His advice;

I did.

Then He changed my life forever.
