Building the spiritual house

Wisdom builds it;
understanding establishes it;
speaking in tongues accelerates it;

Proverbs 24:3 Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established:

builded: בּנה bânâh: to build (literally and figuratively): – (begin to) build (-er)

The Septuagant directly connects Hebrew בּנה bânâh (builded) with Greek οἰκοδομέω (edifieth) in 1 Corinthians 14:4

Edify: to be a house builder; construct

Strong’s Definition: to be a house builder, that is, construct or (figuratively) confirm: – (be in) build (-er, -ing, up), edify, embolden.

Interesting fact:

The first time Hebrew בּנה bânâh is used in the Bible is when God created a woman from Adam. In this case, bânâh was translated as “made”:

Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
