Running the Race

You are running a race:

1 Corinthians 9:24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

Don’t be delayed; keep your daily appointments with God:

Psalm 119:80 Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I be not ashamed.

Understood as: “Let my inside authority be perfect in keeping my daily appointments with you; that I will not be delayed in the race”
