Benefits of the fear of the Lord
God’s grace is for everyone;
But honour, wisdom, understanding, knowledge, teaching, His secrets, everlasting mercy, and blessings are reserved for those who fear Him, because He takes pleasure in them.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Psalm 15:4 … but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
