Finishing Well
God’s perception is void of time; He sees the end from the beginning.
How you began is not important; final judgment will be determined by how you finish.
Finishing well is directly proportional to your willingness to be sanctified through God’s plan.
He is looking for soldiers, not fans;
And soldiers endure training to become what they were called to be:
True followers of Christ.
Ecclesiastes 3:15 That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
2Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
2Timothy 2:3-4 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
