Gracefully aging

The only way to gracefully age, is to age with grace.

Age removes behavioral filters and what has been developed inside ultimately is revealed for all to see.

I have witnessed aged relatives lose their ability to maintain a certain level of respectability; as they aged, their propensity for offending others gradually increased.

The solution is not to attempt to mitigate the problem by remembering to constantly maintain composure, but to renew the inner man that he may show light rather than darkness.

2Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Matthew 7:17-18 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Luke 11:34-35 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
