Ignorance of the Law is no excuse…
“I didn’t know,” says the offender, who immediately hears “Ignorance of the law is no excuse.”
The concept rings true spiritually as well; the only requirement is to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength: the first commandment.
God made it this way because all wisdom, knowledge, and understanding come from Him; He reveals His will to those who fear Him.
He chose us; but we must respond in kind by choosing Him.
Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
